It has emerged that former Lands and Natural Resources, Inusah Fuseini, is not the only one amongst Mahama-led NDC ministers guilty of bugging his office without informing his successor.

Ras Mubarak, former National Youth Authority (NYA) boss and Member of Parliament (MP) for Kumbungu, has also been caught for bugging his office and installing a tracking device on his official vehicle.

From all indications, it is becoming clear that ministers of the Mahama-led NDC government have some ill-intentions and hidden agenda against their successors under the Akufo-led government.

Mahama Ministers, this paper can say, have targeted people they described as “many big fishes” in the NPP government, and have planted several bugging and tracking devices in their offices as well as on their vehicles with the intention of monitoring their activities probably to use whatever information they may get against them.

These evil intentions were made known by the former National Youth Authority (NYA) boss and MP for Kumbungu, Ras Mubarak, who disclosed that, there are too many bigger fishes in the NPP that they intended to track.

According to Ras Mubarak, “…there are too many bigger fishes in the NPP to want to track.”

He made these revelations after current acting Chief Executive of the Authority, Emmanuel Asigiri disclosed that, he (Mubarak) had also secretly placed a tracking device on his official vehicle but failed to inform him.

Emmanuel Asigiri discovered the device after his vehicle was sent for servicing, when the vehicle won’t start.

According to Asigiri, “…We tried all the things we needed to do, the vehicle won’t start. We brought experts from Toyota Ghana; they tried everything the vehicle won’t start.”

He indicated that, it was after a critical study of the vehicle by the dealers that the device was found and questioned why Mr. Mubarak failed to inform officials at the Authority that he was bugging the state vehicle.

However, Ras Mubarak revealed that, there are many officials in the NPP who they have targeted and that “Asigiri will be the last person whose movement I would like to monitor. There are too many bigger fishes in the NPP to want to track than somebody at the NYA,” he indicated, admitting however that, he placed the secret tracking device on the state vehicle.

He admitted that, “I had a tracking device in my official vehicle. I also had a security camera in my office.”

Ras Mubarak also revealed that, he had packed out of his office several months before the end of 2016 and that while he was leaving office; he ensured that all the security installations were removed. “…I had directed that the tracking device, which was [put in the vehicle] ostensibly for security measures was deactivated, but I haven't been able to follow through because I had handed over.”

He also claimed he had directed his driver to ensure that the tracking device was removed from the car. But it beats ones imagination as to why the device is still on the vehicle till now.

Few weeks ago, former Lands and Natural Resources, Inusah Fuseini, bugged his former office without the knowledge of his successor, John Peter Amewu.

A highly sensitive device was let in the office and the device is said to have the capability to pick a whisper 35 feet away.

Many people were uncomfortable with the whole development and thought the former Minister was monitoring the new Minister of the highly sensitive public office.

John Peter Amewu has been leading a vigorous clamp down on illegal mining activities said to be financed by faceless, powerful individuals including ministers and chiefs.

You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be actually something that I think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and extremely broad for me. I am looking forward for your next post, I’ll try to get the hang of it!
