Information indicates that the chief who is known of his efforts in addressing land guard menance in the area since his ascension to the stool was attacked by armed land guards allegedly led by one Theoplilus Ankamah Aryee. It took the invention of the Kwabenya Police to rescue the chief from the notorious gang. The Kwabenya- Musuku chief is therefore pleading with the Inspector General of Police (IGP) and his men to eradicate the menace of land guards in the Kwabenya community. Speaking in an interview with the media, the Kwabenya-Musuku Chief noted that “The land guards are causing chaos in Kwabenya and a lot of people are losing their lives from that. We are appealing to the IGP and the police to come to our aid”. According to Nii Mensah Dzanyogor I, the community has been petitioning the Police since 2012, to deal with one notorious land guard by name Theophilus Ankamah Aryee.
