News Tse-Addo Lands Saga: Families Hit Back At EDDT By admin Posted on March 1, 2019 4 min read 0 0 559 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Share on Reddit Share on Pinterest Share on Linkedin Share on Tumblr The head of family of the Ataa Tawiah Tsinaatse and Nuumo Ofoli Kwashie of La have condemned the East Dadekotopon Development Trust (EDDT) for making what they described as frivolous allegations against the office of the President, the National Chief Imam, the Military hierarchy and the Ghana Police Administration, in connection to their “indiscriminate grabbing and stealing of the Ataa Tawiah Tsinaatse lands.” At a press briefing at Tse-Addo, the Spokesperson for the two families, Henry Ayi-Addo indicated that the EDDT was engaged in fraudulent practice and actions in dealing with prospective developers on the fami lies’ lands. He mentioned that the judgement of the Supreme Court had not been challenged as claimed by the Trust and that “No one has taken the Ataa Tawiah Tsinaatse and Nuumo Ofoli Kwashie families of LA to court to appeal against our Judgement.” He also averred that the fabricated lies and concocted allegations made against the office of his Excellency the president must seized. Henry Addo also stated that the Tawiah Tsinatse family is the legitimate owners of the Tse-Addo Lands. According to the families, the EDDT has no cadatral, no yellow card and that they procured that certificate by fraud. They said the EDDT cannot prove a single case that granted them the right over the land and hence have continuously deceived the public with the fake documents they are having. The families also indicated that the grantees of the Trust are moved by greed hence have decided to take over what does not belong to them. They said the Trust went to Court to strike out the Justice Ofori Atta Judgement and later went to the Supreme Court where the hearing was stayed. They also alleged that the EDDT was registered as a Limited Liability company on February 2, 2008 and begun operation on 29th February 2009 but since had not filed any returns. They also noted that the case has been well investigated by the property Frauds Unit but the report is yet to be released. According to them, investigation from that has been cleared on who owns the family. They also claimed the families have a Supreme Court Judgement which has not been challenged. They called on people who has issued with their lands to challenged the EDDT in court.
