He took office from Henry Addo, who was removed from office in February, 15,2021 by the Principal Elders of the Family after having been accused of misconduct of office.

This was contained in a press statement issued by the Family yesterday and signed by, AbrahamNiiOkaiNunoo, Head of Family who advised Henry Addo to subsequently cease from parading himself as the Deals in his own best interest.

He said after thorough fact – finding investigations were carried out, the Family upheld the complaints and was thus subsequently removed from office by the kingmakers.
The statement said with the enstoolment of NiiOkaiAwua, the era of his predecessor was now regarded as a thing of the past as the Family continued its quest for a sustainable development projects.
