Delegates of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Amasaman Constituency in the Greater Accra Region have declared their readiness to vote Kwabena Ampong as the Communications Officer in the area.
The Executives who are aiming at wining the parliamentary seat and presidential elections believ Ampong is the best person to make their dream become a reality.
Speaking with a section of the media in Accra, Mr. Ohene Addo described Ampong as an affable personality who has no bad record within the party.
“Mr. Ampong has been tried and tested, and we are going to vote for him as our party’s communications officer in the Amasaman Constituency,” he disclosed.
According to him, the only way the NDC as a party could be made more popular than before in the area was when Mr. Ampong becomes the communications officer and not any other person.
“Competence, reliability as well as a Democratic leadership style which can help the party ahead of the 2024 General elections can all be found in Mr. Ampong as a person,” the party Executive stated.
When contacted Mr. Ampong noted the NDC’s inability to retain the parliamentary seat in the 2020 elections was due to the absence of an active and effective communications officer.
He was optimistic that his election as communications officer for the party in the area would go a long way to help the NDC win the parliamentary seat in the 2024 elections.
Mr. Ampong who is currently pursuing development communications at the African University College of Communications (AUCC) pleaded with delegates to vote massively from him in the elections for the betterment of the party in the area.
He further promised to make the party vibrant and popular when voted as the Communications officer of the constituency.
