On 18 July 2023, a five-member panel of the Supreme Court chaired by the Chief Justice, Gertrude Torkonoo adjourned to 22 November 2023 to deliver its decision in a certiorari application brought by ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
By a motion filed on 12 June 2023, the ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas by his lawyer Odei Krow of Cromwell Gray LLP invoked the supervisory jurisdiction of the Supreme Court praying for an Order of Certiorari to quash the judgment of Justice Eric Baah in the defamation suit brought by the ace investigative journalist against Kennedy Ohene Agyapong.
The ace investigative journalist in 2018 brought a defamation action against the NPP Member of Parliament Kennedy Ohene Agyapong for the latter’s sustained crusade against the ace investigative journalist and his associates after the ace investigative journalist’s exposé titled Number 12.

On 18 July 2023, Odei Krow of Cromwell Gray moved the certiorari application of the ace investigative journalist before the Supreme Court and the court subsequently adjourned the case to 22 November 2023 to deliver its decision.
