…He No Longer Represents Ajumako Dawuranpong Royal Family In Dansoman Compensation Claim
The chiefs and elders of the Kofi Akrashie WE, Ajumako Dawuranpong Family of James Town, has reaffirmed its position and declaration that Joshua Attoh Quarshie does not represent their family and urged all relevant authorities not to deal with him as far as payment of Dansoman acquisition is concerned.
Council for the Chiefs and Elders of the family, in a Rejoinder written on behalf of the family indicated that much as there was a purported and unsigned Authority Note dated December 12, 2018, where Mr Attoh Quarshie claimed he had been appointed as the lawful representative of the Ajumanko Dawuranpong family to deal with all matters and transactions relating to the Dansoman Housing Compensation, by a letter addressed to the Minister for Finance, which was also dated December 12, 2018, the Ajumanko Dawuranpong Stool Royal Family acting per Nii Okjdzenah IV, its acting Mantse and Dzaasetse with the consent and concurrence of the Principal Elders of the Stool Royal Family unequivocally declared that Mr. Joshua Attoh Quarshie no longer represented the Ajumanko Dawuranpong family to claim compensation by virtue of Executive Instrument E. I. 27.
The Rejoinder also pointed out that by Garnishee Order Nisi which was dated July 8, 2019, and issued from the High Court Lands Division and which was presented to the Bank of Ghana, Joshua Attoh Quarshie purported to represent the late Nii Kojo Danso I, in respect of the compensation claim.
However, the lawyers of the family stressed that the Ajumanko Dawuranpong Stool Royal Family caused the publication in the media indicating that Joshua Attoh Quarshie no longer represents the family in the Dansoman compensation claim.
According to the family heads, Joshua Attoh Quarshie cannot continue to claim such compensation on behalf of the family because he no longer holds the purported position he claimed to have.
They have therefore warned Attoh Quarshie to stay off the Dansoman Housing Compensation and desist from holding himself as leader of the Ajumanko Dawuranpong Stool Royal Family.
