The Quenmother of Banka, Nana Basahyia Anina Framo has refuted all the allegations levelled against her by the members of Justice and Development of Banka which was published in the New Crusading Guide of March 11 2025. She said the attacks were directed at tarnishing her hard earned reputation.
Speaking with the New Crusading Guide, Nana Frama said upon the imprisonment of the Bankahene by a competent court of Jurisdiction, after he was found guilty of stealing a large sum of US$150 dollars from the People of Banka, the Okyehene, Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin directing her (Nana Frama) the legitimate Quenmother of Banka to take Charge of affairs. “They are fighting me because the Okyehene has directed that I take charge of Banka. So they are going round writing petitions and making noise to tarnish my image which I am not taking lightly. Unfortunately, When the petition was sent to The New Crusading Guide, you also failed to contact me and went ahead to publish it. This is the second time you are doing this and I am not happy at all .I am therefore urging you to retract and apologize and never repeat it..
