The elders, opinion leaders and the entire people of Akyem Juaso under the Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Area in the Fanteakwa south district of the eastern region on Friday 7th June 2024 witnessed the colourful installation of Barima Osei Kofi Amaniampong II, as Akyem Juasohene and Okyeman Kanea in the Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Area.
The ceremony attracted some traditional rulers within the traditional area and some other high profiled personalities within the Fanteakwa south district.
According to Barima Osei Kofi Amaniampong II, his major priority is the focus on education for the children and youth of Akyem Juaso.
He said with Technical and Vocational training the youth of Akyem Juaso will acquire employable and skill training for a better life in future and get an income to feed their families under his reign as the Akyem Juasohene and Okyeman Kanea in the Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Area.
Barima Osei Kofi Amaniampong II, also appealed to his elders, and the entire Akyem Juasoman to rally their unflinching support and prayers for him to deliver on his vision to serve them.
He concluded by commending the Okyehene His Royal Highness Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin his elders and all his divisional chiefs for the opportunity offered and the trust reposed in him to serve Akyem Juaso and promised not to let him down in anyway.
