The nominee for the District Chief Executive (DCE) position in the Amansie Central District of the Ashanti Region, Mr. Michael Donkor is having a hard time wiggling himself of his past, situation which has made many consider him unfit for the post, the New Crusading GUIDE has learnt.
Information available to this paper has it that Mr. Michael Donkor some years back when he was working with the Odotobri Rural Bank Limited, with its headquarters in Jacobu, allegedly forged the signature of a client of the bank and succeeded in withdrawing huge sums of monies from the account of the client (name withheld) of the bank.
It was only when the client got to know that his money had been withdrawn from the bank and notifying the management that it came to light that Michael Donkor, allegedly forged the signature of the client and succeeded in the withdrawing the money.
From there, management of the Bank took the decision to dismiss Mr. Michael Donkor from working at the Bank.
Until his nomination as the DCE for Amansie central, Mr. Michael Donkorwas the Youth and Employment Agency, (YEA) coordinator for Amansie Central District.
Meanwhile, Mr. Michael Donkor has confirmed that there were some issues related to fraud and forgery but it has been cleared.
