The National Disaster Management Organization (NaDMO) Coordinating Director for the Shai-Osudoku District Assembly in the Greater Accra Region, Nana Asante Boateng, has described recent media allegations against him as false.
According to him, the report is untrue and should therefore be ignored by the general public.
Mr. Boateng said he had not formed any group of land guards with the main aim of attacking land owners at Dodowa as has been reported in the media.
“I have all the necessary documents demonstrating that am the real owner of the single plot of land in the area and can never go about beating and threatening people on their lands,” Mr. Boateng disclosed.
There was recent media publications that Mr. Boateng has used his position to attacked land owners and residents at Dodowa over their own lands.
The reports also alleged that Mr. Boateng had directed his fully armed men to attack the land owners who were working on their lands last week.
Aged men and women, according to the news story, were beaten with hard wood, cutlasses and stones by a group of armed men allegedly commandeered by the NaDMO director after which they were rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment.
