Agyekum as a gift because the kind of selfless leadership, respect and dedication to duty towards Nananom and the good people of the District has been remarkable…” were the kind words the President of Kumawu Traditional Council on behalf of the people of SekyereKumawu District used to describe their current Municipal Chief Executive, in their bid to have him retained.
Aside the fact that Hon, AddaiAgyekum maintained closed and respected relationship with the Traditional council,BerimaSafoKweneboahKodua in a petition to the presidency intercepted by this paper, stated that “there are a good number of essential uncompleted projects started by the Assembly under the able leadership of Hon. AddaiAgyekum. The developmental path he has put the district on humbly requires continuity. The transformation which has started is remarkable and the acceleration must be maintained”.

HUMBLE REQUEST FOR THE REAPPOINTMENT OF HON. SAMUEL ADDAI AGYEKUM AS DISTRICT CHIEF EXECUTIVE FOR SEKYERE KUMAWU DISTRICT ASSEBLY
In my own humble capacity as the President of Kumawu Traditional Council and on behalf of the good people of SekyereKumawu District, I would like to express our profound gratitude and appreciation for the gift of Hon. Samuel AddaiAgyekum as your representative for the SekyereKumawu District Assembly in the past four years of your administration. Indeed, I am proud to describe Hon. Agyekum as a gift because the kind of selfless leadership, respect and dedication to duty towards Nananom and the good people of the District has been remarkable.
Mr. President, under your flagship programme, One-District-One-Factory (1D1F), SekyereKumawu District can boost of a Machine Manufacturing Training and Resource Centre located at Temate. We also have two big warehouses constructed for the storage of farm produce coming out from the Planting for Food an Jobs policy. Currently, a brand new Technical and Vocational school as well as District Assembly Administration blocks are under construction. Your Excellency, these are monumental projects worthy of mentioning.
Your Excellency, Hon, AddaiAgyekum maintained closed and respected relationship with the Traditional council. He saw in us partners in maintaining peace and facilitating development. This is a valuable and personal attribute of him that Nananom very much cherished.

In the light of the above, Your Excellency, the Kumawu Traditional Council and by extension the god people of SekyereKumawu District humbly plead that in your consideration and decision of appointing your representative to head SekyereKumawu District Assembly as Chief Executive, kindly consider reappointing Hon. Samuel AddaiAgyekum to continue the good works he has started. The Kumawu Traditional Council pledges to give our unflinching support as usual to him and promises to partner him as always to deliver your transformational agenda to the good people of the District.
