Allies of the Paramount Chief of Nungua, King Odafio Welentsi III, have mounted a spirited defence for the stool’s Chief of Staff, Frank Kofi Lewi, following speculations that he was an imposter impersonating the stool.
“Whoever says Frank is an impersonator must be hooted at. Frank was inducted into office as the Chief of Staff on 6th October, 2016, and the records are there for everyone to verify,” one of the elders of the Nungua stool told this paper.
Frank, according to the elders, earned his position through dedication, hardwork, and service to the Stool and the chief, so for anyone to hold a press conference and seek to discredit Frank Lewi is neither here nor there. He has also fought many legal battles for the stool.
