The Ghana Police Service has initiated a manhunt for one Arhinful Appiah Francis for allegedly defrauding a businessman of an amount GHC64,000 in a car import deal.
Information indicates that the officers from the Police service have been chasing Arhinful Francis Appiah for some months now over the illegal act.
A report from the Police indicate that on 14th July, 2021 the accused person with intent to defraud the complainant alleged that he was a car dealer with connection in the United States of America . The accused person further alleged that he could buy a Hyundai Santa Fe, 2019 model for the complainant should an amount of GH¢64,000.00 be paid to him.
When the said amount was given to the accused person, he reneged and has since gone into hiding.
The police are currently appealing to the general public to assist them to locate and arrest Francis for prosecution.

The Victim, Siame Kwabla Kevin in an interview with Journalists said, “I have called Mr. Arhinful Appiah Francis severally after paying the GHC64, 000 for refund but to no avail.”
He pleaded with the general public to assist the police for the arrest of the alleged fraudster.
