The Ngleshie Alata Paramount Stool Council is calling on Government to immediately dismiss the Senior Traditional Council Registrar, Henry Kojo Plange, for allegedly, unlawfully meddling in the enstoolment of an illegitimate chief for Ngleshie Alata, in the Greater Accra Region.
According to the Council, Henry Kojo Plange, since November 2021, he has exhibited extremely corrupt and incompetent behaviour by refusing to abide by the administration process of enstoolment and refusing to cross-check with the Stool Secretary before swearing-in people who claim to be qualified to be chiefs but have no trace with the stool council.
“Some forged backdated gazettes indulged in criminal activities installed chiefs with this dubious backgrounds engaged in the illegal sale of stool lands even in acting positions even when the greater Accra Regional house of chiefs have causation them they still don’t listen and are unwilling to subnet themselves to due procedures”, the statement revealed.
The traditional council of the Ngleshie Traditional Stool Council stated at a press conference on Monday, March 21, 2022, at the Accra International Press Center, that there are some shameful activities that Henry Kojo Plange had worked on which does not speak well of his position as a registrar.
According to council in a press statement read by, Nii Ansah Sasaraku III, of the Nii Arde Nkpa family, Henry Kojo Plange has induced a Chief Fisherman for Langma. They said the registrar refused the presence of judicial committees to try numerous cases because of his self-interest. Nevertheless, refusing to send out official letters of invitation to official channels but rather determine who should be informed to attend meetings.
It is with all these weaknesses of the Senior Traditional Council Registrar Henry Plange that the Ngleshie Alata Paramount Stool wants him removed from office for the smooth administration of their council.
