The Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources Hon. George Mireku-Duker over the weekend donated 30 motorcycles to some 30 NPP Electoral Coordinators in the Tarkwa Nsueam constituency under a project dubbed 1-Coordinator, 1-Motorcycle.
The Constituency comprises of 251 polling stations, over 30 electoral areas with quite a significant number remotely situated hence making coordinating activities difficult sometimes.
The Member of Parliament (MP) for Tarkwa Nsuaem Hon. Duker stated that the donation is in line with the agenda to help facilitate the movements of these coordinators in their day-to-day activities for the party in terms of coordination.
He said, “I firmly believe that the motorcycles will aid our Coordinators to effectively discharge special party duties, monitor and supervise various developmental projects in their area and for their personal use as well.”
He added that resourcing various party structures is a crucial step towards consolidating the gains of services we have rendered to Ghanaians.
