The Akyem Oda District Police Commander, chief Superintendent of Police, Daniel Amoako, has received massive commendation by residents of Oda and surrounding towns for his great act of professionalism and fairness in the execution of his duties.
Chief Superintendent Amoako is being praised for establishing a cordial relationship between Police officers and the indigenes which has routinely turned the indigenes as watchdogs who relay pieces of important information on crimes to the Police whenever it happens.
Besides, his relationship with his subordinate Police officers has strengthened the Policing technic in Oda and surrounding communities and helped in tackling crimes and apprehending criminals in his area of operation. Police personnel are visibly seen patrolling the streets and surrounding communities with vigour.
Some residents interviewed in Akyem Oda on the performance and operations of the Ghana Police Service in general commended the Divisional commander for helping to reduce crime in the area by getting close to them and always receiving and acting on their complaints. They said the Daniel Amoako has made policing in the area so attractive that every resident wants to relate with the Police and share information on issues when they happen. They therefore urged the Commander to continue with his good works and further requested the Inspector General of Police IGP to reward his for his good display of professionalism.
