Five years ago, on the eve of my 40th birthday, I made a personal commitment to God to fulfill one of the deepest desires of my heart: to facilitate the construction of a 30-bed Children’s Ward.
That commitment found its purpose at the Tafo Government Hospital because of the deplorable condition of its existing Children’s Ward, which had become a major concern for the Ghana Health Service and the people of the region.
I am filled with immense gratitude and pride each time I visit the site and see the project nearing completion. As of my visit today, the project is 85% complete. Watching this vision steadily become a reality has been one of the most meaningful and fulfilling journeys of my life.
God willing, I will be turning 45 tomorrow. There is no greater birthday gift I could ask for than to witness the completion and commissioning of this facility before the end of the year so that generations of children and their families can receive the quality healthcare they deserve.
This journey has never been about me. It has always been about giving hope, preserving lives, and leaving behind a legacy of compassion and service. I am deeply grateful to everyone who has supported this vision, and I remain confident that, by God’s grace, we will soon celebrate its successful completion.
