RE: RIGHT TO INFORMATION REQUEST ON THE STATUS OF THE DRAFT CONDUCT OF PUBLIC OFFICERS BILL, 2022
We refer to our letter to you on the above, dated 10 September 2023, a copy of which we have attached to this letter for ease of reference.
In our letter, we stated that the Secretary to Cabinet had informed us that Cabinet was awaiting a memorandum from your office for consideration before it concludes deliberations on the Draft Bill. We asked you about the status of the said memorandum and requested that you indicate to us when you expected to complete the memorandum and when you proposed to submit it to cabinet.
This is a follow up to that letter, since we are yet to hear from you.
