Pallbearers yesterday carried the mortal remains of Madam Gloria Aba Akyerba Addison, popularly referred to as Sweet Gloria for internment at the Gethsemane Memorial Garden, at Shiashie, in Accra.
The late Gloria Aba Akyerba Addison was the mother of evergreen KwekuBaako, the Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading GUIDE.
The President, Nana AddoDankwaAkufo-Addo, Vice President MahamuduBawumia, Trade and Industry Minister, Alan Kyeremateng, Julius Debra, former Chief of Staff under the John DramaniMahama administration, and many other top political figures across all the political divides were present at the Tema Joint Church, at Community 7 for the church service to bid farewell to Abdul-Malik KwakuBaakolate mother.
The late Madam Gloria Aba Addison died on Saturday, March 6, 2021, at the Tema Maritime Hospital after a short illness.
She was the wife of the late Kofi Baako, who served as Information Minister under Ghana’s first President, Osagyefo Kwame Nkrumah.
