WE ARE READY TO WORK WITH ANY DCE …Shai-Osudoku Traditional Council to Nana Addo

Members of the Shai-Osudoku Traditional Council in the Greater Accra Region have declared that they are ready to work any person that will be appointed by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo as the District Chief Executive (DCE) Officer of the area.

They disclosed that the President knows the best for the people of the area and believed he would appoint a good person to occupy the high position.

Their action was in line with a recent media report that the council was against Mr. Fred Offei to be appointed as their DCE.

The report also made it known that the council was not ready to work with Mr. Offei and should not be imposed on them.

The Shai-Osudoku Traditional Council has however distanced itself from the publication and called on President Akufo Addo to ignore the report.

Speaking at a news conference at Dodowa, a member of the Shai-Osudoku Traditional Council, Nene TeyeKwesi Agyeman Okukurubuo, stated that they have no hand in such media report that hit the country last week.

He disclosed that the said names mentioned in the report were not members of the council and should therefore be ignored by the general public.

He announced the council’s readiness to invite the two people behind the story before the council for questioning.

” We shall deal with them for  speaking in the name of the council without the notice of authorities” the chief declared.

Nene Agyeman, who is also the Chief of Dodowa-Numerse, stated that the council has not noticed any criminal act of Mr. Offei as the report indicated.

“We want to made it clear that we have no problem with the shortlisted members for the position and we are therefore prepared to join hands with any appointee for the development of the area” the the Traditional Council Member stated.
