Two grandsons of a certain Edmund Ogum Mensah namely; Moses Mensah and Willy Sowatey has petitioned the Director General of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service to investigation allegations of impersonation levelled against Nii Noi Owuo.
In a petition signed by Willy Sowatey to the CID, it accused Nii Noi Owuo who is a Fire Service Officer of using their grandfather’s (Edmund Ogum) particulars to enroll or gain admission in the Service.
It said, because of Chieftaincy “we have detected that he is currently on the verge to changing the name to his original mane and date of birth after enrolling in the Ghana Fire Service with our grandfathers particulars”.
“We are therefore petitioning the Director General of CID to investigate the matter thoroughly so as to bring justice to the forefront of the law’, it emphasized.
In a separate interview with Nii Noi Owuo to verify the authenticity of the matter or the allegations of impersonation levelled against his person, Nii Noi Owuo admitted the fact that the case has been lodged with the CID and his statement has been taken and therefore he has no further need for engaging the media in any kind of conversation or interview.
