Dr. Daniel Mckorley, Group Chairman of McDan Group of Companies

Group Chairman of McDan Group of Companies, Dr. Daniel Mckorley, has been awarded the overall Best Entrepreneur of the Year, 2017 at the Ghana Entrepreneur and Corporate Executive Awards 2018.

Over 30 outstanding entrepreneurs in Ghana were awarded in recognition for their contributions toward the development of the private sector.

The Ghana Entrepreneur and Corporate Executive Awards 2018 came off at the Movenpick Hotel in Accra, Saturday April 28.

The event which was the 8th edition of the award scheme was under the theme, “Enhancing Business Growth through Corporate Entrepreneurship Development.”

The Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana (EFG), organizers of the historical event in partnership with the Ministry of Trade and Industry and Business Development, nominated scores of entrepreneurs who were seen to have excelled in their careers over the past year.

Dr. Felix Anyah, Chief Executive Officer Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital also won the overall Best CEO of the Year (Public Sector), 2017.

The award ceremony also saw the presence of several personalities in the business industry in Ghana and Africa.

Other big winners for the night were: John Peter Amewu, Minister for Land and Natural Resources, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, Minister for Education, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, Nana Appiah Mensah – CEO of Zylofon Media/ Menzgold etc.
