–Prampram Stool Father Declares, Says Installation Of Michael Parker Void
The Stool Father of the Prampram Traditional Area, Numo Osabu Abbey, has refuted allegations that he recruited land-guards and spiritually fortified them in order to cause mayhem in the area.
It was reported that the police raided his house upon the said allegations and retrieved three locally made single-barrel guns, two pump action guns, one military water canteen, and one easy snap high density camera.
Numo Osabu Abbey was also accused of contracting a chief priest who carried out the fortifications on the land-guards at a public cemetery in Prampram, where the priest was alleged to have drained the blood of the land guards, mixed it with that of a goat and fowl he had killed in the public cemetery at midnight, poured it on the ground, and ordered them (land guards) to lick it.
But in an interview with Numo Osabu Abbey, the said allegations against him were false and that they were concocted by factions who were also laying claim to the Prampram stool.
According to him, the police came to his house as claimed and took his legally registered gun which had documents covering it and his personal camera which he brought from abroad for the festivities.
He said some people have decided to lay such frivolous allegations against him just to tarnish his image, averring that it was due to an existing chieftaincy problem.
H explained that after the demise of the former chief, Bennett Tetteh Djan III, some three years ago and the final funeral rites were performed, it behooved on the three ruling houses, the Abbey Solution Mansro We, Larbi Tetteh Ago Djan We, and Kwei Kpletu We, together with the Dzaase Council to search for a new chief.
He indicated that whilst the search was going on, one Justice David Abbey purportedly installed a new chief in the person of Michael Quarcopome Parker.
According to him, Justice David Abbey has no capacity to install a chief in the area which made all arrangements and installation of Michael Quarcopome Parker null and void.
Numo Osabu Abbey also averred that Prampram has a Mankralo who is currently serving as the Acting President of the Prampram traditional area pending the installation of a new chief and that Justice David Abbey and his cohorts must be made to understand the fact that they hold no capacity to install a chief.
He, however, stressed that in view of this developments, such people he called “enemies of progress,” have decided to wage a smear campaign against him since he had become a stumbling block to their dubious activities.
He also denied contracting Martey Kodie, and Daniel Anertey Abbey, who claimed to be his land-guards; saying they were rather contracted by his enemies to bear false witness against him.
