A group of alleged thugs reportedly linked to business executive Angela List launched a violent attack on the BCM Ghana Limited workshop located at Spintex in Accra, raising serious concerns over security breaches and impunity.
Eyewitnesses report that the assailants, led by a known land guard figure, stormed the premises with a group of about ten men and subjected the workers to acts of intimidation and harassment.
The attackers are said to have arrived in a hard-bodied Nissan pickup, reminiscent of a similar assault carried out on the same facility a few months ago.
The ining services firm BCM Ghana Limited has petitioned the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service over what it describes as a violent and unlawful invasion of its Spintex-based workshop by armed land guards allegedly linked to business executive Angela List.
In a letter dated July 30, 2025, addressed to the Director-General of the CID, BCM accused Angela List of using armed land guards—led by a known land guard figure called “Cyborg”—to storm and attempt to seize control of its facility on July 30, 2025.
The intruders, numbering about ten and posing as National Security operatives, entered the premises located on Parcel No. 10, Block 3, Section 102—a 1.556-acre site that houses BCM’s mechanical workshop for repairing faulty equipment.
BCM stated in the petition that this was not the first such attack, noting that “Cyborg,” who is described as a known associate of Angela List, had previously been arrested by the Property Fraud Unit of the police for trespassing on another BCM property at Borteyman.
“These armed land guards masquerading as National Security operatives stormed the premises and attempted taking over,” the company wrote, adding that the attackers’ activities pose “a threat to the safety of our workers and the company as a whole.”
BCM confirmed that photographs of the suspects were attached to the petition to reinforce the seriousness of the complaint.
The company is urging the police to arrest and prosecute the attackers and their sponsors.
The petition reads in part:
> “We request your assistance to arrest these land guards and prosecute them and their co-conspirators as their activities pose a threat to the safety of our workers and the company as a whole.”
Angela List has not publicly responded to the allegations at the time of publication.
Meanwhile, sources indicate that the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) and other state security agencies are already tracking the activities of this group of land guards, who are believed to be involved in several coordinated land invasions in Accra under the pretext of national security operations.
The Ghana Police Service is yet to issue an official response to the complaint.
