I have known you before as the then Joy fm Upper East Regional Correspondent. I was then a leading member of the Joy fm news team. As of the time you were arrested, I had not even started law school to become a lawyer for Anas. You never told us then at Joy that you even work for Anas or had an association with Anas. We knew you as our regional correspondent. That is why Joy sacked you.
When you were arrested, we naturally wanted to come to your aid till the police told us back then that you were using the name of Anas to defraud people and companies. You told the man there is a story about him and that if he pays money, it will be dropped. You took part of the money and they lured you to come for the rest, it was when you came to collect it that you were arrested. The complainant in the case was Wontumi.
Regarding how the case travelled, it was between you and Wontumi. All the Tiger Eye P. I team was to expose you that they don’t collect money to set anybody free neither do they work with you or have ever worked with you, they denied having association with you. So the complainant Wontumi got you arrested and not Anas or Tiger Eye PI.
Just be truthful. You only got near Tiger Eye because they were doing a story in Upper East and as journalists, we usually speak to local correspondents for an understanding of the terrain. Just this one encounter is when you went to make representations that you work with Tiger Eye and can assist people to link up with them and investigate stories for them. Then you took to duping people and making money off them till your cup became full and you were arrested.
This your new identity is fast ooo. I couldn’t have noticed it was you. Why are you happy to say you worked with Tiger Eye when they never even recruited you to let alone employ you? If you were used as a local handler on a story like I did when I came there to do a story sometime for the BBC, does that make you an employee of BBC?
