The Secretary General of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), Wamkele Mene, has paid a courtesy call On the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Taabea Group, Dr. Christian Kwasi Agyeman at the company’s head office at Aputuoja in the Ashanti Region.
The visit was aimed familiarizing himself with the operations of the Company which has gained international recognition since its inception.
The visit also formed part of the move by the ACFTA secretariat to educate company owners about the benefits in registering with the African Continental business platform. The platform has an agenda to support African Entrepreneurs to expand their businesses to other parts of the continent without difficulties.
Mr. Mene said he was Impressed with the achievements of the Taabea Group, particularly with the Herbal Company for providing an effective herbal medicine for malaria for the people of Ghana and beyond for over a decade.
“Am not surprised the Taabea Company has won several awards both on the local and the international front” he indicated.
He noted the company has since its inception provided solution to malaria problem in Africa and also contributing to the development of the society.
Mr. Mene congratulated the Taabea CEO for how far he has managed the company to help gained both local and international recognition.
He promised to support businesses like Taabea Group to expand and produce more for other African countries as that is what the African Continental Free Trade Area seeks to do.
In his happier statement, the CEO of the Taabea Group, Dr. Agyeman expressed his gratitude and how honoured he feels about the visit.
He informed Mr. Mene about the readiness of his company to make good use of the opportunity the AfCFTA provides to businesses in Africa.
Dr. Agyeman Also introduced the company’s new product Called Zanecare Mixture which has been approved by The Food & Drugs Authority in Ghana to Mr. Mene.
The Zanecare Mixture helps to fight the deadly coronavirus by improving ones immune system to fight deadly disease.
Taabea is a limited Liability Company focused solely on the production of herbal medicine in Ghana. Its production and demand started in Kumasi and within months spread across the country
The Taabea Company has subsequently become a household name within the country and the world at large.
