In moments when journalism is tested, what matters most is principled leadership — one that upholds truth, safeguards journalists, and strengthens the foundations of our profession.
I acknowledge and commend the current leadership of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA), under President Albert Kwabena Dwumfour, for articulating a commitment to these values. The administration’s efforts to promote journalist safety, institutional reform, and press freedom are timely and important.
