‘Today’s tradition performed by  Nii Okai Olai III,   the Asere king made me happy because it depicts togetherness and development for the king’s people from Ga, La, Osu, Teshie, Tema, Togo, and Benin. This exhibits togetherness and it will help the youth to desist from unlawfully claiming the chieftaincy title and it is the duty of the various family houses to ensure that there is peace. I render a special thanks to the Almighty God and Nii Amasa, king of Asrene for bringing us together under the umbrella of the Asrene Paramount stool’.

Since my enstoolment as the Chief of Ashaley Botwe, I encountered a lot of challenges and hurdles but I have been able to resolve most them.

Besides that  and by the grace of God, the president of Ghana, Nana  Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo made me a government appointee for the  District Assembly  and I have since been collaborating  with the District  assembly to  promote  human , economic and environmental growth  and development in the identified  communities and towns within my jurisdiction.

We have indicated places we can build hospitals and issues that need much attention. I’m very glad the Ashaley Botwe hospital was approved in the 2022 budget and this shows what I have done as the chief of the town. Before the year ends, this is our preparation for 2022.

I express gratitude to the People of Ashaley Botwe for believing in my and I wish them Merry Christmas and a happy New Year. They should believe in me as I work with the state to bring more projects and development to the communities.

In a statement, Nii Okai Lai Matse III, chief of the Asrene Nikoi Olai stool Called on the chiefs to use their positions to strive for peace instead of using their positions to foster litigations noted that peace promotes development.  According to him, when there is peace there will be a lot of projects and development in our towns and communities and urged leaders to do things that will promote peace and development in our communities.

‘The Ga-Adangbe language is spoken by the Ga-Adangbe people  so For a town to develop or grow  those who create the town and those who helped establish it or those whose parents helped establish the town must  be acknowledged . If the town has developed over the years, we can’t mention names without praising the founders.

“Also For a town to develop, it needs to acknowledge and praise the founders because without them the town would not have been developed. So we need to hold them in high esteem When leaders of a town set rules and regulations to govern, those rules should be adhered to  in a bid to  promote peace. We only know that conflict and war rather retard
