The Member of Parliament(MP) for Karaga, Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam, has urged some New Patriotic Party (NPP) executives in the constituency to stop sabotaging the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer aspirant Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
According to him, some constituency executives pretend to support the NPP presidential hopeful but secretly relay information to his opponents.
“I know them. In fact, two are current constituency executives and I know all of them. One even claims he supports Dr. Bawumia, but he is constantly communicating to other delegates not to vote for him,” he said
He indicated that these executives are sabotaging Dr. Bawumia’s campaign because they fear that if Bawumia secures 100% votes, he (Dr. Amin Adam ) will take the credit.
The Karaga MP appealed to delegates to give peace a chance and stay united to ensure Dr. Bawumia wins the NPP’s upcoming presidential primary.
He made the remarks while Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia toured the Karaga constituency to campaign ahead of the NPP presidential primary slated for January 31, 2026.
