The Nii Ayitunma We Royal Family of Abola Piam We in the Greater Accra Region has called on Ghanaians to disregard anyone parading himself as chief of the Ga State.
According to them, those parading themselves as legitimate King of the Ga state does not hail from any of the royal families that has the right to install a chief for the State.
Speaking at a press conference in Accra over the weekend, Nii Tetteh Okpeelowu I, the Otsiame for the Nii Ayitunma We Family, disclosed that Nii Adana Latse II, Nii Teiko Tsuru I as well as Nii Ayitunma I are to be disregard for parading themselves as chiefs .
He noted that it is only the Ayitunma We, Amugi We, Teiko Tsuru We or the Abola Piam We that has the power to determine who should be the King of the Ga State.
“Am warning all those parading themselves as Chief for the Ga State to stop” he warned.
The Otsiame made it clear to Ghanaians and those in the diaspora to note that there is no chief in the state adding that anybody who does business with the self-acclaimed chiefs does it at his or her own risk.
He called for the intervention of the government for the success of the Ga State.
“It is our turn to install a King for the Ga State and would soon do that for the growth of the State” the Otsiame assured.
