A group by name, Ghana Nkosuo Nti, has petitioned Parliament to ensure that a law is passed to force current and incoming governments to compulsorily complete state abandoned projects by their predecessors.
The group notes that it is the only way with which the country can match up with other developed countries across the globe.
Speaking to the media at a press conference , President of Ghana Nkosuo Nti, Mrs. Agness Owusu, noted that Ghana will develop massively if there is a law passed to help con complete such projects .
“Parliament must enact legislation that will make it mandatory for present or incoming government to finish previous administration projects within two years or forfeit their positions” she indicated.
She also pleaded with parliament to act as a state entity in the absence of politics towards the growth of Ghana’s economy.
According to her, Ministers who votes against national agenda for partisan reasons must be voted out to pave way for total development of the country.
She also called for the need to equipped the security and the intelligence agencies with modern technology and policy directions so as to catch up with global standards.
“There must be a mid -term votes on Ministers and all directors of the various state agencies since that will force them to work towards the admiration of the Ghanaian populace” she disclosed.
Mrs. Owusu disclosed that it would be appropriate if all non-performing government officials are axed from office if they failed to fulfilled their campaign promises.
State Officials who also causes financial loses to the nation, Mrs. Owusu said must also be send to the fast track court for prosecution.
All border disputes and territorial conflict, she also said must be resolved to help protect our country for the benefit of the future generations.
According to the President of the group, it must be appropriate if a law was passed to make churches pay taxes and also declare assets.
Churches, Mrs. Owusu further noted who are into the sale of anointing oil and other items for money must also be made to pay taxes or closed down.
“Parliament should make a law that will require each government to construct a certain fixed kilometres of road their first term in office or be voted out of power” she disclosed.
