Asafoakye of Kokrobite has been shot dead, while two others injured including 15year old boy in a Gun battle between two factions at Kokrobite during ritual performance to lift ban on noise making.
Kokrobite is experiencing Chieftaincy disputes for the past 20 years.
Two of the injured persons have been sent to the Kokrobite Health Center for treatment.
Information gathered indicates, the Asafo members led by One Nii Armed says, they have lost some of their kings and Fetish Priest so they will not perform rituals whiles other from Nii Ofei side also said they will perform the rituals that led to the shooting incidents.
In an interview with this paper, one of the victim Mary Obitsi-saa revealed that, she saw the 15-year-old boy bleeding during the shooting incidents, so she decided to rescue the boy.
Mary said immediately she took the boy from the group; the shooters also shot her legs and chest.
Mary Obitsi-saa says, the shooters also shot the head of Asafoakye who decided to took them to Hospital.
Meanwhile Physician Assistant at Kokrobite Health Center Jerry Nunu says confirmed the shooting incidents.
According to him, the victims would be referred to Weija Municipal Hospital for further treatment.
