Former Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has assured the rank and file of the NPP that he will never be the one to do anything untoward to create confusion and rock the boat for the party.
Speaking to thousands of party supporters at the NPP headquarters in Accra today, after filing his nomination papers to contest the NPP Flagbearer, Dr. Bawumia also called on other aspirants to see the race as an internal contest, with the main opponent of the NPP out there.
“Our true Opponent is not within. Our true Opponent is out there,” he said.
“We need unity to win and I promise you that, just as you have known me to be, I would not do anything to bring division or conflict within the party. If there would be anyone to create problems in the NPP it won’t be Dr. Bawumia.”
Dr. Bawumia went on to outline a number of his vision for Ghana to expand the Ghanaian economy and create jobs.
