President John Dramani Mahama has begun a nationwide tour to inspect ongoing development projects and interact with local communities.
The exercise, which started on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, opens in the Bono Region and is aimed at giving the President firsthand insight into the progress of key government initiatives while also gathering feedback from residents and traditional leaders.
Dubbed the “Resetting Ghana Tour,” the first leg will see the President visit Dormaa Ahenkro, where he is expected to cut sod for the construction of a 24-Hour Economy Model Market. He will also inspect ongoing work on the Jinijini–Sampa Road and the Sunyani Outer Ring Road.
The second day of the tour will focus on community engagement, with President Mahama scheduled to meet chiefs and residents to receive direct feedback on government policies and development
