The Chief of Bibiani in the Bibiani Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region, Nana Ngoah Anyimah Kodom II, has accused the President of the National House of Chiefs, Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi II of masterminding under-development of Bibiani.
The chief complained about the lack of basic infrastructure and other social amenities in the community.
According to him, the President of the National House of Chiefs, Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi II should be blamed for the underdevelopment of Bibiani.
He has also accused the Bibiani Municipal Assembly for selling of Bibiani lands without doing any development in the community.
Nana Ngoah also alleged that Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi II, who returned from his medical treatment after more than a year, failed to visit Bibiani which ripped him off the capacity to enter their land.
“He has no capacity to enter the jurisdiction of Bibiani land because he owns nothing over there,” Nana Agoh said.
He added that, the town is also deprived of job opportunities for the teeming unemployed youth even though there are several mining companies in the town.
Speaking to the Media, Nana Ngoah Anyimah Kodom II, maintained that all link roads are in bad state. He therefore appealed to Government to support them.
Nana Ngoa Anyima Kodom II moreover made passionate appeal to the Mining companies in the community to employ the youth in the community to help reduce employment ratio.
He mentioned that, there are some departments in every institution which requires no certificate and such department must employ the youth.
Nana Ngoah appealed to the President of the Republic, Nana Akufo Addo and his government to increase the security in the country, adding that the rate of killing that is confronting Ghanaians is worrying.
