It has come to the attention of the Management of National Lottery Authority (NLA) through a newspaper publication under the headline, “NLA Sued to The Tune of GH¢10,000,000 by Prestige Group & Lucsmani Company” published in sections of the media on Thursday, 11th February, 2021.
For the avoidance of doubt, the current management of NLA under Hon. Kofi Osei-Ameyaw has absolutely nothing to do with the supposed contract arrangements that Prestige Multimedia Limited and Lucsmani Company Limited had with the then Board and Management of NLA in 2011. The said contract has never come to the knowledge and attention of the Management of NLA. As it stands now, NLA has no records of the Contracts of Prestige Group and Lucsmani Limited.
Management of NLA would like to urge the aforementioned two companies to reach out to NLA with copies of their respective contracts so that Management and Board would have a look at it and take the necessary steps to deal with the matter at hand.
