The founder and leader of the Rhema of Total Grace Chapel International, Seth Kwame Sallah, is currently in custody for allegedly forging the signature of a businessman to illegally occupy his land
An Accra Circuit Court 9 presided over by Justice Samuel Acquah legally regarded the action by the man of God as fraud and remanded him whilst the case is still pending.
The action by Bishop Dr. Kwame Sallah, according to the Court was contrary to section 158 of the Criminal Offences Act 1960.
According to the State Prosecutor, DSP Kesse, the supposed man of God, who is also the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Setho Classic Engineering Company Ltd forged the signature of Mr. Annang Atokro, a businessman based in Ashaiman in the Greater Accra Region.
Counsel for the accused, Lawyer Kpodovia appealed to the court to temper justice with mercy.
After the arguments from the prosecution and the defence counsel, the Circuit Court judge, Samuel Acquah remanded him into police custody.
The case was last Monday adjourned to Thursday, 15th December, 2022.
