Our attention has been drawn to reports from multiple sources that an individual by the name of Mohammed Awal is circulating and presenting a purported Power of Attorney, allegedly granted to him by Anas Aremeyaw Anas, in relation to certain parcels of land.
We wish to state unequivocally and for the avoidance of doubt that no such Power of Attorney has been granted to Mohammed Awal by Anas Aremeyaw Anas or by any company, affiliate, or entity associated with him. Any representation to that effect is false, unauthorized, and without legal basis.
The said Mohammed Awal has no authority whatsoever to act for, represent, transact, negotiate, or hold himself out as an agent of Anas Aremeyaw Anas or any of his businesses.
We further understand that several complaints involving Mohammed Awal are currently pending at the Nima Police Station. Accordingly, any person with information or grievances concerning his activities is advised to direct their complaints to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.
Members of the public are hereby strongly cautioned that any individual, institution, or corporate body that chooses to engage in transactions with Mohammed Awal in reliance on the said purported Power of Attorney does so entirely at their own risk.
This notice is issued in the public interest to prevent fraud, misrepresentation, and further deception.
