Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod), Sammy Gyamfi, has been named the Best Public Company CEO for 2025 at the 15th Radio and TV Personality (RTP) Awards.
The honour recognises his strategic leadership and the transformative role GoldBod has played in Ghana’s gold industry and the broader national economy.
Since assuming office, Mr. Gyamfi has overseen key milestones, including strengthening the gold trading framework, increasing foreign exchange inflows, and promoting local gold refining and value addition. GoldBod has also intensified efforts to position Ghana as a leader in sustainable and well-regulated gold production.
His leadership has contributed to notable economic gains, including improved foreign exchange reserves and greater stability of the cedi.
