Ahead of the December 7 poll, the National Chief Imam, Dr. Alhaji Osman Sharubutu, has prayed for the success of the leader of the Ghana Union Movement (GUM), Rev. Cristian Kwabena Andrews (Osofo Kyiriabossom).
The National Chief Imam, who is known of his humility prayed to the Almighty Allah to help Kyiriabossom’s dream of becoming a president of the republic become a reality.
Dr. Sharubutu further blessed the aspiring president of the republic (Kyiriabossom) when he donated items worth thousands of cedis to him towards the Eid- Ul Adna celebration at his residence at new Fadama, last Friday.
Dr. Sharubutu congratulated Kyiriabossom for taking his destiny into his own hands and was optimistic he would achieved his dream.
Some of the items donated were: 30 bags of rice, bags of sugar, boxes of milo, boxes of sardine, among other vital products.
Dr. Sharubutu was optimistic the items would go a long way to help in their celebrations.
In his remark, Osofo Kyiriabosom thanked the Chief Imam for his powerful message and assured him that he would not fail Ghanaians when voted as president to the country.
He indicated that Muslims have over the years played significant roles in the development of the country and therefore needed to be assisted.
Kyiriabossom announced his preparedness to help Muslims across the country when elected president of Ghana after December 7.
“I love the people of Ghana and I would therefore not do anything that would negatively affect the development of the nation when elected as president of Ghana” he assured
