An Aspiring District Chief Executive (DCE) hopeful for Adansi North District in the Ashanti Region has been caught in an audiotape during last year’s December general elections campaign, casting a snare on the personality and integrity of President Nana Akufo-Addo.
Mr. Seth Oduro a tutor at the Akrokerri College of Education, is quoted to have said that “Doesn’t president Akufo-Addo know his destiny and know his destiny for the outcome of the general elections, and is he the one to choose MP for Fomena constituency?”
These unpleasant and insulting statements came from Mr. Seth Oduro after the president has addressed a gathering of teeming New Patriotic Party (NPP) members, sympathizer’s, and faithful’s in Fomena some few days to the 2020 general elections.
Mr. Seth Oduro, who claims to be an NPP member and a constituency executive officer for Fomena constituency during the last elections openly supported and campaigned for the Independent parliamentary candidate for Fomena, Mr. Andrew AmoakoAsiamah, who won the seat and now the 2nd Deputy Speaker of Parliament.
Information available to New Crusading Guide newspaper, after thorough checks revealed the DCE, Hon. Eric KwakuKusi, during the general elections received series of attacks from Mr. Oduro who has raised series of insults on president Nana AddoDankwaAkufoAddo, and Mr. Bernard AntwiBoasiako’, popularly called Chairman Wontumi during the electioneering campaign in 2020.
Sources have revealed that, the same group of people being spearheaded by Mr. Seth Oduro, have begun fabricating and plotting diabolic agenda against, the DCE, Hon. Eric KwakuKusi, just to get him removed from office.
Barely a week ago Fomena constituency NPP polling station officers, electoral area coordinators as well as the youth wing within the party held a news conference in Fomena to rally their unflinching support for, Hon Eric KwakuKusi, and appealing to the president to retain him to continue delivering for the good people of Adansi North District.
The entire constituency executives have also per our reliable source has thrown their support for Hon. Eric KwakuKusi because, of his tremendous performance in his 4 years in office.
In an interaction with some residents of the Adansi north district, they commended the DCE for performing in his last 4 years in office and that they appealed to the president to retain him to perform more for Adansi north district.
