A Presidential Staffer, George Atsu Egbenunya, has predicted that Alan Kwadjo Kyeremanten, a leading contender for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer slot’s number two (No.2) position on the ballot paper signifies real victory.
Likening it to the Bible, Mr. Egbenunya stated that the 2nd position on the ballot signifies the second coming of Jesus Christ.
Mr. Egbenynya made this known to the media after the balloting for the special voting for the ten presidential candidates of the NPP last Wednesday in Accra.
According to the Presidential Staffer, the NPP can only achieved its dream of breaking Ghana’s political jinx with Mr. Kyeremanteng as presidential candidate, and not with any other person.
He also stated that Mr. Kyeremanteng is the only threat to the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2024 General elections.
“I do not associate myself with failures. Among all the ten aspirants in the elections, we’re going into, I, Egbenunye, will not bring you anything inferior. Why would I just bring anything at all to the region when I’m aware it is not good for my people, do you really think I can do that?” interspersed his statement with a question.
