The Defendant in a 10 million defamation suit, Oliver Mawuse Barker-Vormawor, has finally filed his Statement of Defence to the Court.
As a result, when the parties went to court on Tuesday, the High Court struck out Kan Dapaah’s (Plaintiff’s) Motion for Judgment in Default of Defence as withdrawn.
The Court also awarded costs of GHc3,000 against Oliver Barker-Vormawor.
His Motion for Stay of Proceedings pending appeal, which he had filed earlier, was also struck out as withdrawn.
