The Presidential Candidate of the All Peoples’ Congress, Dr. Hassan Ayariga has called on Ghanaians to vote out the ruling party, New Patriotic Party (NPP) as well reject the main opposition party, National Democratic Congress (NDC) as the country gears towards its Presidential and Parliamentary Elections on 7th December, 2020.
According to him, these two political parties have disappointed Ghanaians in terms of development and socioeconomic infrastructure.
Dr. Hassan Ayariga made these remarks during the party’s 2nd National Delegates’ Congress in Accra, Ghana.
The newly elected presidential candidate in his speech stated that the party would engage the ordinary Ghanaians to sell the policies and programs of the party to ensure the party’s victory in December elections.
He said an APC government led by him would have the well-being of Ghanaian’s at the core of every decision his government would take.
APC have been taken for granted for too long and it is time to be part of the new era, a new movement to spread the word and let effect the change the country so need, he added.
He said Ghana needs decency, consensus, and all on board to change a new face of our country.
He said not a country endowed with so much resources yet continue to borrow to pay workers whilst pile huge public debts and hoping to be paid by our grandchildren.
“I know things wouldn’t be easy as one could think about the task ahead of us, but we shall together make history for our country if APC is made to govern this country. Our country need an honest government. Not a government that believes that, one need to massage figures for populism purposes, not the government that believes that, your political opponent must be witch-hunt and not the government that suppresses the media”, he added.
He claimed that no state can survive as a democratic state without the media playing its democratic roles of being the mouthpiece of the citizens, checking of excesses and putting government on track.
“There is no any better time to change and develop our country than now with APC. The waiting is over, the despair is no more. We shall rise to define the true meaning of our country”, Dr. Hassan Ayariga lamented.
He said Ghanaians cannot continue to endure the dictation conducted by the western world through their loans and packages meant to invade the sovereignty in a very intelligent manner.
The choice was for Ghanaians either to get things done again by voting APC to restore the hope or must continue to perish in the hands of politicians whose only aims was to amass the wealth of this nation for their family members alone.
He urged Ghanaians to come together and say on their face of the ruling party and enough of the shame and ridicule they have brought to the country that was seen as the beacon of hope for Africa.
APC is the alternative to these two main political parties to ensure peace, job opportunities, economic boost as well respect for all and sundry irrespective one political colours.
