The rising plush environment of Tse-Addo, the suburb of Accra is gaining notoriety for extra-judicial demotions.
The issue becomes worry when the lands are managed the Ghana National Trust Holding (GNTH) with La Stool being part of the Board as allodia owners of the land and natural partners.
A case in point is what happened last at 1am last 12 January, 2025, where a director at Intatec lconic Enterprise Ltd received a call about the destruction of their properties at the their 3.5acre land site which housed five uncompleted buildings and a wall.
“Our caretaker witnessed armed men, some in military outfits, causing unlawful damage to the property, setting fires, and stealing motorbikes and construction materials. Many of them issued threats, allegedly backed by high authorities,” a statement from the company read.
The company said it had contacted authorities, specifically the police, to investigate the matter and “hope they will identify those culpable and prosecute them. Although we have our suspicions, we will not speculate in the media. Instead, we will focus on pursuing justice through the courts.”
at Intatec lconic Enterprise Ltd stated that “our company, through its CEOS, acquired the company along with its assets and liabilities. The company has held a land title certificate since 2014, with rightful ownership of the land under discussion. We have been in possession since then, as evidenced by the structures and walls we have erected, which have now been vandalized.”
There is an ongoing case before the High Courts in Accra concerning this particular land.
Additionally, there is an injunction application in Accra, and an injunction was granted to
restrain all parties.
