Some residents of Kwao Bondzie in the Awutu Senya West District in the Central Region want the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to intensify police patrols in the area over land guard activities.
Residents of the town lamented that women and children are living in fear for their lives as a result of the rampant shooting and violence in the area.
Just a little over a week massive shooting incident occurred at Kwao Bondzie over land disputes.
According to a resident of the town she had miscarriage as a result of land guards attack at her resident.
Some residents of the town in an interview, expressed fears that the activities of these land guards are affecting the peace they have been enjoying over the years.
They indicated that they can no longer contain the activities of land guards in their community hence, the need for action on the part of security agencies to clamp down on their activities.
They stressed that one Michael Larbi has arrogated himself the position of a chief and using land guards to terrorize the community.
Meanwhile Chief of Awutu Kwao Bondzie Nai Kofi Atwere also said, they can’t sleep neither can they go to their farms due to excessive land Guards activities in the area headed by detective L/cp Michael Larbi.
