Kojo Anim, the Campaign Manager for the Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya East Constituency Hawa Koomson says, Ghanaians should blame Former President John Dramani Mahama for the stabbing of Ato Koomson, the son of the Minister of Fisheries.
Kojo Anim said, John Dramani utterances has motivated NDC members to kill NPP members just to him power.
If we recall NDC Branch Organizer Usman Haruna has been arrested after stabbing Ato Koomson, the son of Hon, Mavis Hawa Koomson at Kasoa EC office in the ongoing limited transfer
Kojo Anim called on Ghanaians to reject John Dramani Mahama since he is a violent man.
On the same Day, NDC Parliamentary candidates for Awutu Senya East Constituency, phillis Naa Koryoo and two others were also arrested in front of EC office with Guns.
Speaking to Media, Campaign Manager for Hawa Koomson, Kojo Anim said, this are part of John Dramani Mahama’s and their Parliamentary candidates Phillis Naa Koryoo to create insecurity in Kasoa but NPP in Awutu Senya East will collaborate with the Police and make sure that, the perpetrators will be prosecuted
Currenly the Ghana Police Service has cautioned and subsequently granted bail to three persons who were arrested when a Pump Action gun with four rounds of ammunition was found in their vehicle at the offices of the Electoral Commission at Ofaakor in the Awutu Senya East constituency of the Central region.
Suspect, Phyllis Naa Koryoo Okunor has been cautioned on the offence of transfer of firearms without authority whilst suspects Abdulai Aziz and Mustapha Mohammed have been cautioned on the offence of possession of firearms without authority.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, 6th June 2024, the court remanded into Police custody, to reappear on 19th June, 2024, suspect Usman Haruna for stabbing one person during the disturbances at the office of the Electoral Commission at Ofaakor in the Awutu Senya East constituency.
Police investigations are ongoing, while the case docket is being forwarded to the Office of the Attorney-General for study and advice.
Kojo Anim said, the NPP will make sure that sanity will come to Kasoa.
