Details emerging following our last week Friday publication under the headline “Kwabenya Queenmother Goes After Berchie Acheamfour…” regarding issues surrounding lands at the Ghana Atomic Energy Commission, in Accra, have given the affable estate developer a clean bill of health.
Independent checks done by the New Crusading GUIDE have revealed that contrary the Kwabenya queenmother, Naa Kworkor Dugbatey’s accusation, that the real estate mogul uses illegality to grab lands belonging to the Odai Ntow Family, Berchie Acheamfour legally acquired the land from the Onomakwa Addai family and proceeded to develop it.
“Yes, Berchie Acheamfour leased part of the land he acquired to Maker’s Chapel but that of Obofuor was not given out by him. He legitimately acquired the land and even holds land title to it,” allies of the estate developer with knowledge of the issues told this paper earlier this week.
It is the queen mother, who is rather encroaching on the twenty-two (22) plots belonging to Mr. Acheamfour and not the other way round, the paper learnt.
“That woman, whose queenmother position is even being contested in Court is very ungrateful. When she was sick, Berchie Acheamfour took care of her, gave her money and ensured she got the best of care but she is the one going round maligning this man, can you imagine,” the source said.
In view of the emerging details, the New Crusading GUIDE retracts the story in its entirety and apologises to Berchie Acheamfour for any inconvenience the story might have caused him.
