The Minister for Health, Mr. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh has donated 10 brand-new motorcycles and 5 incubators to the Juaboso Health Directorate to enhance healthcare delivery in the district.
The Minister, who is also the MP for Juaboso Constituency, stated that the donation fulfills a request from health workers and aligns with the government’s commitment to strengthening maternal and child health services.
He said the motorcycles would improve outreach services, enabling health professionals to reach remote areas, while the incubators will boost neonatal care and survival rates for premature infants.
The Minister highlighted the government’s plans to introduce new policies under the health sector, including free primary healthcare, to intensify vaccination and immunization exercises across the country.
The Minister was confident that with such modern equipment, health professionals would ensure quality healthcare delivery in the area.
Dr. Deborah Mensah, District Director of Health Services for Juaboso, who received the equipment, expressed gratitude, and commended the Minister’s efforts in transforming the health sector.
She pledged to ensure regular maintenance of the equipment to maximize its impact.
